Plus One

Prototype in design. Plus One is N+1 Labs' own open agent puck. Nothing has been built and no unit exists, so every value in this OPD is a design target or a design choice. Sizes are targets. Costs are not quoted yet.

Give your agent presence. Unlocked by design.

A physical button, voice and light for the agents you already use. Hold the plus to talk to your agent; the light ring shows when an agent needs you. Phone-ring size, it works with magnetic phone mounts and chargers.

  • Start here: BUILDCARD.md, the summary, editions and what's not known yet.
  • The whole thing in one file: opd.yaml. Feed it to an agent; see AGENTS.md.
  • See it: model/plus-one.glb, model/plus-one-exploded.glb, model/plus-one-packed.glb (what ships: box, tray, cable, card), line/layout.glb (the 8-station line).
  • Layouts by volume: line/layouts/README.md. A bench cell for the first 100 units, a U cell for about 2,000 to 4,500 a month and a balanced MadeCell line for about 10,000, simulated from assumed values.
  • Build an accessory: accessories/README.md. Everything about the base, a fit gauge, a template and starter prompts for your agent.
  • Firmware: device/model.yaml, a draft device model under proposal 0001. Unlocked by design: USB-C and a BOOT button, nothing locked.
Size about 55.4 mm across and at most 12 mm thick (approved direction, 2026-11-01). The CAD here is still the 57 x 9.5 mm concept
Base magnet ring, three twist-lock lugs, an alignment key, five pogo pads. Nothing ships attached
Charging USB-C, a dock on the pads, or a magnetic wireless charger
Parts 38, every one with STEP and GLB. The mechanical parts are reduced CAD; the board's components, the packaging and the Plus One+ add-ons are envelopes, stand-in shapes at the target size
Line 22 operations on 8 stations; 56 s at the slowest station (target). Three layouts by volume, from a one-person bench cell to a seven-person line
Quality 5 inspection plans, 15 tests, 12 PFMEA rows
Editions Plus One now; Plus One+ and Plus One++ coming next
